UCP leaders to comment on Haidukou’s case

The leaders of the United Civil Party will organize it in their office at 12 p.m.

Navapolatsk youth activist Andrei Haidukou was detained by KGB in Vitsebsk in November 2012. He was accused of spying. No details have been announced so far. His relatives and friends are sure that the detention in connected with Haidukou’s political views. Human rights activists are more cautious and demand to make the details of the case public.

Andrei Haidukou will stand trial in Vitsebsk on June 12. It will be a closed hearing, KGB head Valery Vakulchyk said.
