Typhoon Haiyan death toll reaches 4 thousands in Philippines
The death toll of the super typhoon Haiyan has almost reached 4 thousands in the Philippines. Over 1.5 thousand people are missing.
The death toll may reach 10 thousands, mass media reported earlier. However, President Benigno Aquino said that the forecast was “too emotional”.
Over 18 thousand people were injured, RIA Novosti reports. More than 10.3 million Filipinos were affected by the catastrophe. Over 4 million people became homeless and evacuation centres can only accept 350 thousand people now.
