Two buildings catch fire and collapse in New York (photo, video)
Four people are in a critical condition after gas explodes and sets two buildings on fire in New York.
A gas explosion has destroyed two buildings in Manhattan, NYC. 19 people have been injured and 4 of them are in a critical condition, BBC reports.
A gas pipe was damaged by builders in a Japanese restaurant on the first floor of one of the buildings, Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio said. A gas explosion followed partially destroying the building and casing a fire. The afire destroyed two more buildings. 250 firemen were sent to put the fire out.
