Trials for entrepreneurs’ meetings held in October Square on February 22 will start in Minsk next week, human rights defenders report.

 

Barysau inhabitant Alyaksandr Abramovich has received a message from Minsk Central District Court, the human rights website Viasna reports. His case will be considered on March 9 at 2.30 p.m. Maxim Vinyarski’s case will be considered by the same court at 9.30 a.m. Anatol Lyabedzka has also been summoned to court, he wrote on Facebook. Leanid Kulakou’s case will be considered by the same court on March 10 at 2.30 p.m.

Reports about the violation of the order of organization of mass events were drawn up against the activists.

Copies of such reports have also been sent to Pavel Sevuyarynets and Nina Bahisnkaya. It is not clear whether they will also stand trial.

 

Private entrepreneurs protested against decree #222 obliging them to provide certificates for light industry goods imported to Belarus from countries outside of the Customs Union.
