Train collision in Switzerland: driver dead, 35 injured
Investigators are yet to identify the cause of the head-on collision in Granges-pres-Marnand, Switzerland.
The accident happened at about 8 p.m. Belarusian time on Monday. 44 injured had been reported at first, then the number was clarified: 35 people got injuries. The rescuers found the engineer's body in the deformed locomotive. Possibly, he is the only victim of the accident, RIA Novosti notes.
On July 24, 79 people were killed in a high-speed train derailment in Spain.
