Tatstsyana Sevyarynets: Authorities’ repressions bring up stronger opposition

ERB managed to phone the mother of Pavel Sevyarynets - Tatstsyana Sevyarynets – after the verdict on her son – 15 days of detention – had been brought in Brest. She said she had expected such a decision and was very much afraid:

“What do I feel now? On the one hand I feel despair because I know they will not let him live peacefully and do the job he is devoting his life to. It will always be a trial…

The authorities are evidently scared. Pasha and other young people like the Shyla boy and the Azarka girl make them fear. So let them fear. I think their actions make the opposition grow stronger”.

Tatstsyana Sevyarynets says she and her husband “have been worrying for their son for 10 years” since “Malady Front” was created. “But it’s ok. We are strong and the resistance is growing stronger!”, - says this courageous woman.
