The Roman Catholic church leader hopes Pope Francis will come to Belarus during his visit to the Baltic states.

Roman Catholic Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz makes a statement in connection with the events on March 25-26.

It will happen if Patriarch Kirill of Moscow gives his consent.

Pope Francis gets invitation from Lukashenka to visit Belarus, Archbishop of Minsk and Mahilou Tadeush Kandrusevich said at a news conference.
