Shareholders to control 35% in Belarusian oil company

The state will retain 65 percent of shares in the Belarusian Oil Company, while the remaining 35 percent will go to several Belarusian corporations, Mikhail Asipenka,CEO Belnaftahim told Belapan.

The Belarusian Oil Trading House, the Mozyr refinery and Naftan will buy 35 percent of the shares in a new oil company that is being established.


"We are establishing an organization that will buy oil, refine it and sell petrochemical products to consumers from different parts of the world," Mr Asipenka said, stressing that the sale of petrochemical products would be the priority of the Belarusian Oil Company.
