Sensation: Belarus hockey team defeats USA

Belarus-USA match of the world hockey championship became a sensation on May 7. The Belarusian team won – 5:2.

Artur Haurus scored the first goal during the 32^nd minute. Artsyom Volkau scored another goal at the 34^th minute Alyaksandr Kitarau – during the 37^th minute. American Brock Nelson managed to score a goal during the 38^th minute. Thus, the score was 3:1 in favour of Belarus at the end of the second period.

Alyaksei Kalyuzhny scored a goal during the 42^nd minute in the third period. Torey Krug scored a goal for the USA at the 46^th minute but Kalyuzhny scored another goal three minutes later. The score remained 5:2 until end of the match.

The Belarusian team is leading in group B now. Our team will play against Russia on May 9.
