Ice hockey: Sean Simpson eyed for Belarus coaching job

Canadian Sean Simpson is the most likely candidate for the position of the chief manager of Belarus national hockey team. He used to head Yaroslavl Locomotive but was fired due to the team’s bad performance in the CHL. Simpson also worked with Switzerland team for a long time.

He will replace Uladzimir Krykunou who left the position not long ago and works with Naftahimik now.

According to by.tribuna.com, foreign coaches will be preferred, the President’s sports assistant Maksim Ryzhankou claimed earlier.
