Russia may hold a referendum on Lenin's mummy

A referendum may soon take place in Russia to decide the fate of Lenin's mummy and the mausoleum, according to the statement by Vladimir Kozhin, the chief of the Russian President's administration. "Naturally, necropolis in the country's center is nonsense. But let the people decide and the best way is through a referendum. If 80 percent say that Lenin's body should be buried, then relevant decisions could be taken. Not earlier", noted Kozhin.

The official also said that the government spends dozens of millions of the Russian rouble to preserve and protect the mummy.
