Russian low-cost carrier Pobeda (‘daughter’ of Aeroflot) ‘has not been allowed’ to work in Belarus, Vedomosti reports. The company planned to organize flights between the Belarusian capital and Moscow (the permission for 14 flights a week had been received in October). However, the first flight abroad will be Moscow-Bratislava on December 19.

"We were not offered any slots and the service tariffs were incredibly high… One our ticket costs less than the service tariff for one passenger,” the low-cost carrier’s representative said. The Russian edition has not received any comments from the National Airport Minsk.

Pobeda has asked the Russian Ministry of Transport to help organize flights to Belarus.
