Vladimir Vysotski would turn 75 today
The famous actor and poet's birthday is celebrated on Friday.
Vladimir Vysotski (1938 — 1980) was born in Moscow. However, as Euroradio informed before, his ancestors come from the current Brest region of Belarus. Vysotski's grandfather Volf Shlyomavich was born in Brest, while Vysotski's father Shlyom was born in the village of Syalets (Byaroza district).
It is unteresting that they claim Belarusian roots of the actor as just one of the versions in the museum - Vysotski's House in Taganka.
