USA responds to Belarus-Sweden conflict
Representative of the U.S. State Department Patrick Ventrel has made a corresponding statement.
According to his words reported by ВВС, the United States are deeply concerned about the
latest events in Belarus, including the authorities' decision to expel the
Swedish Ambassador. These measures only lead to the further self-isolation of
Belarus, the official has noted.
The USA once again urges
Belarus to release and rehabilitate all political prisoners immediately and to
stop oppression of the civil society and the democratic opposition.
