United Economic Space to start working today

The United Economic Space is the project of the economic integration of the three countries' Customs Union. The essense is to unite customs territories of the countries-participants. The common space prescribes free movement of goods, services, capital and working force.

The trading and currency-financial policy should be agreed in the framework of the UES, and the participants should grant fair competition.

Until now, the Customs Union's commission has been the directive authority of the United Economic Space. However, the administrative functions have been transferred to the new structure - the Eurasian Economic Commission - since January 1. Eventually, it will receive the national  authorizations of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, informs BelaPAN.
