Sevyarynets: KGB wanted me to get married

in KGB detention centre.

Let us remind you that the co-leader of the steering committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party Pavel Sevyarynets is sentenced to 3 years of penal labour for participation in the Square. He is serving his sentence in the village of of Kuplin in Pruzhany District – he works on a farm.

“There is a lot of work especially in the morning in Kuplin, but it is really different from Sitna (his previous labour camp in Vitsebsk Province - Euroradio)”. As for girls…
Pavel Sevyarynets: “Girls do not visit me. Ardent revolutionists… No. They usually write letters or phone me. They wanted me to get married in the KGB detention centre – the only letters I was allowed to read were sentimental letters written by girls.

It is certainly better here (than in Sitna - Euroradio). This is Western Belarus. People do not get dead drunk after work. Unfortunately, “Maximka” (Russian methyl alcohol - Euroradio) has reached this place too, but it is something exotic here”.
