Polish electric train forbidden to enter Belarus

The electric train heading for Brest has already spent two hours in Terespol, Poland. Polish frontier guards have checked all the documents but Belarus has not accepted the train. They say that some “event” is taking place in Brest. Passenger Mikola has informed Euroradio about it.

Mikola: “Some event is taking place in Brest. That is why the border has been closed. The train Terespol-Brest has been stopped without any explanation. We have to stay in the electric train and it is almost 30 degrees Celsius there”.

The train is packed and there are women with children among the passengers. The passengers are complaining that the train may be delayed until 3 or 4 p.m.

Let us remind you that Alyaksandr Lukashenka is paying a visit to Brest today. He has visited the frontier post “Brest” and Brest Fortress.
