Police: We'll base our further relations with Khamichenka on trust

Uladzimir "Headphone" Khamichenka, one of the convicts after the December 19 events, pardoned by Alyaksandr Lukashenka, seems not to have disappeared anywhere. According to the information provided by the law-enforcement authorities, he arrived to Slutsk on August 15, and registered in the police the next day.

“He was supposed to come to the local police at the place of his residence within 3 days. He came there, showed himself. He broke no rules" — head of the department of information and public relations of the administration of internal affairs of Minsk regional executive committee Alyaksandr Danilchanka has said to Euroradio.

Uladzimir Khamichenka did not visit his aunt who lives in Slutsk, neither did he visit his sister in Kopyl, for the three days during which a pardoned prisoner is supposed to get registered in the police. Euroradio looked for him there but in vain.

Alyaksandr Danilchanka: “He was in Slutsk. According to him, he lived at his friend's”.

Besides, an apartment in Slutsk where Uladzimir Khamichenka is officially domiciled is still empty. The neighbour says that no one appeared there for a long time apart from one policeman who looked for Khamichenka.

“No movement is heard there. A policeman came looking for him - a district police officer or someone who deals with prisoners after release. There are still seals on the doors left from the times when he was arrested. Everything is quiet in our house, no one comes here”.
