Police starts detentions before Freedom Day
"Young Front" activists Mikalaj Dzemidzenka and Raman Pratasevich were detained yesterday.
According to the information provided by
the "Young
Front" press-center, the organization
registered in the Czech Republic, the administration of the Akrestsina street
detention center had given the false information that four arrested "Young
Front" activists would be released in the evening on March 22. When their
allies came to the detention center to meet them, representatives of force
structures in plain clothes organized a raid on them.
However, they
detained only Dzemidzenka and Pratasevich. In the Maskouski district police
department the youngsters saw the activists of the movement "Revolution in
social networks", detained earlier for hoisting a white-red-white flag on
the balloons in the shopping center "Stalitsa".
The police released
some of the activists and only Mikalaj Dzemidzenka, Nasta Shuleika and Mikhas
Kastko remained in custody.
