Participants of “silent action” stand trials in provinces

They are Belas, Ustsimenka, Panou, Samarodau and Yarmolenka. They are accused of petty hooliganism. The people spent the night in a detention centre, informs Radio Liberty.


Andrus Tychyna, Valyantsin Fedzyuk, brothers Ivan and Illya Shyla and their father Uladzimir will stand trials in Salihorsk. They are accused of using bad language and participation in an unauthorized action. All the five spent the night in jail.

Brest trials will begin on July 1. Administrative reports have been drawn up against 53 people. According to human rights activists, 75 people were detained in Brest.
