Official Minsk does not plan to acquit political prisoners
Head of the President’s Administration Uladzimir Makei has claimed it in an interview with the Belarusian mass media today, on April 17.
The official has also informed that political prisoners Sannikau and Bandarenka were released not to restore relations with the European Union. BelTA informs that, according to him, Alyaksandr Lukashenka pardoned them because the political prisoners had pled guilty, repented and pled for mercy. Makei has also claimed that the released political prisoners will not be acquitted.
