MPs speak Belarusian in House of Representatives
The Law on Folk Art (and Crafts) in the Republic of Belarus has been discussed today, on November 15.
All the six MPs who took part in the discussion spoke Belarusian, Radio Liberty reports.
Over 11 thousand people are involved in folk arts and crafts in Belarus now, deputy Minister of Culture Tadevush Struzhetski said. He thinks that the number of such craftsmen will increase soon.
The Law on Folk Art has been approved in first reading.
