Minsker to continue hunger strike against Kanavalau-Kavalyou sentence
Svyatlana Chornaya says that Kanavalau's refusal to file an appeal has not changed her decision. The lady has been on a hunger strike since November 30.
According to Chornaya's words reported by BelapAN, she does not demand only to abolish the death penalty for Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou. She protests against the sentence itself. In her opinion, the convicts' guilt was not proven in court.
Let us remind you, 25-year-old Vitsebsk natives Kanavalau and Kavalyou were sentenced to death upon the accusation of organization of Minsk metro terrorist act and a series of other blasts.
