Minsk longest queues (photo, video)

Euroradio correspondent walked round the center of Minsk and found queues everywhere he expected to find them. His journey started not exactly in the center. This is the queue near the Polish Consulate at about 4 p.m.

So where else are the longest queues in Minsk? I recalled the railway station on the spot:

It's getting scary when you just approach it.

A queue to the right.

A queue to the left.

The doggy is also queuing...

There were no people near the box-offices of the bus station which is located nearby! I waited for several minuted and potential passengers appeared in the hall.

However, the queue is not longer than the one to the currency exchange office!

Currency exchange offices. There's nothing like the queues in Summer 2011 here anymore.

The bank located in the opposite to the railway station introduced the electronic queue system. You need to get a ticket and wait before entering the bank hall.

There are about 20 people in the "waiting room"!

I walked out of the bank and saw people standing in a queue. It was rather cold outside so it was really uncomfortable. The people waited for the fixed-route minibus to Stankava. An empty bus arrived, ten people got in and all the others kept stading in a queue.

"Dynama" stadium box-offices. There are many people when some European celebrity team arrives to play against BATE. So I came there and saw... two fans. The nearest game of the Belarus national team is on October 12, BATE play on October 23 so the fans have nowhere to hurry.

City hospital. The queues are not long, but how long does it take to wait till a doctor lets you in? A youngster reading "Harry Potter" says that... about 2,5 hours!

As for the legendary queues for social milk, they seem to have disappeared from Minsk shops.
