Lukashenka to deregulate prices since today
Price formation in Belarus will be liberalized since March 1, 2011. Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed a corresponding decree on February 25.
The document was signed with an aim to decrease the sphere of regulation of prices and tariffs by the state, the President's press-center has informed to BELTA.
"The decree prescribes preserving of state regulation of prices for certain goods, which are the most significant for the economical security of the country, for products of the organizations-monopolists, and for socially important goods", — the press-center has informed.
Restrictive indexes for change of prices for goods, produced at the territory of Belarus, which were previously established by the state, are now abolished by this decree. Registration of these prices is also abolished, correspondingly, the press-center has noted.
