Lukashenka about Shushkevich: One fact would be enough to make him silent
The state leader has given an interview to the TV company Russia Today and called Stanislau Shushkevich “one of the leaders of the fifth column”.
According to Lukashenka, “he knows a lot about Shushkevich” and “one fact is enough to make him silent for the rest of his life”. “But I have never done it and will never do”, - reports BelTA quoting Lukashenka.
Lukashenka reminded that the former head of the Belarusian Supreme Council had taken part in the collapse of the USSR and then he claimed that “all Russians were living out of suitcases” during Shushkevich’s rule. “Shushkevich is becoming a hero in the Russian Federation on all the TV channels almost every day”, - noted the state leader in reproach during the interview.
