Lithuanian Ministry of Justice sued Belarusian accounts out
The banks are refusing to comment on the issue.
“Daily” informs about it referring to Lietuvos rytas. According to the journalists, the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice received a request from its Belarusian colleagues in spring. Lithuanian officials applied for information to two banks where Belarusian human rights activists had personal accounts. They asked SEB about Valyantsin Stefanovich and DnB Nord about Ales Byalyatski.
DnB Nord immediately presented information about Byalyatski. However, SEB took its time. The bank asked the Ministry about the legal basis for doing so.
