At least 300 people detained all over the country on July 3
The information has been presented by human rights activists.
According to them, at least 210 people were detained in Minsk and about 90 – in the provinces.
BelaPAN informs that about 140 people are in the detention centre in Akrestsina Street. Reports about administrative infractions have been drawn up against them.
The hearings will take place in Frunze, Soviet, Zavodski, Moscow and October District Courts of the capital today. However, the trials may take place in all Minsk District Courts due to the great number of the detained.
The most numerous detentions in the provinces were registered in Homel. Hrodna and Mahilyou. About 30 people got detained in Homel, 20 – in Hrodna and 12 – in Mahilyou. Participants of the “silent” action were also detained in Brest, Vitsebsk, Salihorsk and other cities.
