International jazz festival in Hrodna (photo report)
The organizers wanted the musical happening to highlight the city’s European lifestyle.
The bands Port Mone, Stop Time and Polish Grzegorz Karnas Trio performed in the philharmonic society on December 4. The festival “Grodno Jazz” presented the Belarusian-Swiss project Kazalpin to inhabitants of Hrodna. Everyone cold learn to dance salsa and to draw on sand during the break.
It was the sixth “Grodno Jazz” concert. The festival was organized by Hrodna showman Syarhei Finski with the help of the local authorities and the Polish Consulate. The next “Grodno Jazz” will take place in the yard of the New Castle in June 2012.
