Grybauskaitė does not support economic sanctions against Minsk
In the opinion of the Lithuanian state leader, such step will only increase Russia's influence on Belarus.
Dalia Grybauskaitė says that the Western economic sanctions lessen Belarus' dependence from the West and from any influence of the West, reports DELFI. According to her, it's politically fashionable to speak about the sanctions, but the results will concern the people in the first place.
Let us remind you, last week the EU expanded the "black list" of the Belarusian officials, who are banned from entering the EU's territory. It is expected that 4 Belarusian oligarchs, close to the authorities, may be included into the list on March.
The EU's economic sanctions covered only Uladzimir Peftsieu's companies so far.
