Finnish fans asked Lukashenka … to resign at world championship
Fans using various symbols supported our team during the match Belarus-France in the Finnish capital.
A group of young people with political posters “Free Belarus” and “Lukashenka, resign” could be noticed among them. They were… Finnish students. All of them were activists of a youth organization. One of the participants informed Euroradio about it.
Anti: "We conduct similar actions every year. The youth initiative JEF-Europe usually organizes actions in support of democracy on May 18. They are organized simultaneously all over Finland and Europe. But the championship is a good occasion to organize a special action!”
The Finnish activists ordered the symbols at a local enterprise that produces flags.
