Experts: July 3, 2008 bomb was not made in Vitsebsk

Two explosions were supposed to occur on July 3 (Independence Day) but the second bomb was not activated. Russian experts think that the blasting assembly was not made in Vitsebsk. The specialists revealed traces of plants that cannot be found in the region on the bomb. The bomb could be produced in the western part of Bryansk Oblast, Kaliningrad Oblast, in south-east Belarus or north-west Ukraine. It could also be made in north-east Poland, Latvia or Lithuania.
The bomb could be prepared for activation in the city. For example, near the Botanical Gardens. Experts think that the components were produced in May or June, informs BelaPAN.
