European Commissioner urges Syarhei Kavalenka to stop hunger strike

The European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy notes in his Twitter: "Belarus has a need for him and other people, who fight for human rights and democracy".

Let us remind you, in February CCP BPF activist Syarhei Kavalenka was sentenced to two years and a month of imprisonment for breaking the regime of the forcible hard labour at home (he got the previous sentence for hoisting a white-red-white flag on the biggest New Year tree in Vitsebsk). Kavalenka has been on a hunger strike in prison since December, with intervals.
