Drahichyn District trains to fight African plague in pigs

According to tomin.by, “a complex of actions” will be tested there. Traffic will be blocked, homeless dogs and all the livestock of private pigs will be eliminated. The method of killing pigs will be bloodless.

The local inhabits were warned about the training session a few weeks ago. The Drahichyn district local newspaper and TV channel will cover the event. Local inhabits hope that pigs will not be killed in reality.

Let us remind you that all pigs were taken away from inhabitants of Nyaznanava village (Navahrudak District) in February and burnt. The Department of Veterinary and Nutrition Inspectorate refuted the rumours about the African plague found in those pigs and claimed that it had been a training session.
