Curiosity finds organic molecules on Mars?
This is the preliminary information that still needs to be checked, says NASA.
Scientists say that organic
molecules are a necessary factor for appearance of life. Therefore, if such
molecules have indeed been found in Mars soil, this discovery will play a
significant role in the further research of the Red Planet.
RIA Novosti claims that precise results of the
research will be announced in the beginning of December in San Francisco.
Curiosity has stayed at Mars since the beginning of August. It studies the atmosphere and the climate of the planet, looks for water and its traces, as well as for organic substances.
