Belarusian Week starts in Vilnius

According to the information provided by BelaPAN, the Belarusian Week's opening ceremony will take place today in the city self-administration of Vilnius.

A round table discussion on the issues of the Belarus-EU relations will take place in the Lithuanian Parliament on March 21. On March 23, an exhibition "BPR the Unknown" will be opened in the Central Archive of Lithuania and the educational corpus of the European Humanities University. The basis of the exhibition is combined of the archive materials of the Belarusian People's Republic which were unknown before. A festive concert is planned to take place in the city hall on March 24.

The festive events will finish on March 25, on the day of BPR's declaration. The participants of the Belarusian Week will put flowers to the graves of the activists who signed the Act of Independence of the BPR in 1918. On the same day, there will be a festive auto-rally under white-red-white flags in Vilnius.
