Belarusian tennis players lose to U.S. team
The Fed Cup's first round game in the II World group ended with the score 0:5 to the benefit of the Americans.
The game took place on February 4-5 in Worcester (Massacussetts). The world's first racket Victoria Azaranka and the team's captain Syarhej Tsyatseryn weren't there. According to BelaPAN, Azaranka did come to the USA but referred to the lack of time for getting back to proper fit after the back injury, which she got in the Australian Open final. Tsyatseryn didn't make it to the USA as he was in Sochi with Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
The Belarusian team will play for the right to stay in the Fed Cup's II World group in April.
