Political prisoner Tatsiana Kolas diagnosed with cancer

Political prisoner and former employee of the Minsk City Executive Committee Tatsiana Kolas has been diagnosed with cancer while in detention.
For further examination and treatment, the woman is supposed to be transferred to a hospital. However, this is only planned to happen in several months. It is also known that Tatyana is suffering from severe back pain related to a compression fracture of the spine she previously sustained.
The news about the Belarusian woman's illness was commented on by Marina Zolatava.
"Political prisoner Tatsiana Kolas has been diagnosed with cancer. This is not just bad news. It is terrible news, because she is in a prison colony. I will be honest — I personally have had almost no experience with prison medicine. But during the time I was in the colony (and I spent two years and four months there), at least two women died of cancer. One was older, from my unit, and she had an economic charge.
The second was younger — under Article 328. Although the charge makes no difference whatsoever. What matters is that these are people, these are women. Political prisoner Hanna Kandratsenka was also diagnosed with cancer while in the colony; she was even taken for treatment to an oncology clinic in Gomel. She died seven months after her release," the journalist said.
Tatsiana Kolas was detained in June 2022. She has an underage son. Before her detention, the woman worked at the Minsk City Executive Committee. Because she had access to the personal data of security service personnel, Tatyana was accused of passing information to the Telegram channel "Black Book of Belarus."
