Belarusian Foreign Office: We will not withdraw Ambassadors from EU as yet

"If the Ambassadors manage to explain that the policy of sanctions and pressure has no prospect, it will be a positive thing. Their trip may help bring the situation back to the constructive dialogue suggested by Belarus in this sense”, - reports BelTA quoting Savinyh.

Belarus is not going to withdraw its Ambassadors from the European Union as yet, however, it is possible. The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has claimed it, informs Radio Liberty.

Let us remind you that it became known that Belarus withdrew it representative in the EU and the Ambassador to Poland yesterday. The Belarusian Foreign Office suggested that the EU Representative in Minsk and the Polish Ambassador left for their capitals for consultations. Thus, the Belarusian authorities responded to the new sanctions imposed by the European Union. Then Brussels claimed that all the EU Ambassadors would be withdrawn from Belarus for consultations.
