Andrei Bandarenka warned for "discrediting Belarus"
The reason for this is the HR defender's appeal to the International Ice Hockey Federation urging not to hold the Ice Hockey World Cup-2014 in Belarus.
The public prosecution considered there was purposefully false information about the legal state of citizens in our country and the political and social situation in Belarus, in the appeal. This has been informed by the web-site of the informational-educational establishment "Platform", headed by Andrei Bandarenka.
In the appeal, Bandarenka turned the attention of the ice hockey officials to existence of political prisoners and repressions against independent activists, journalists and human rights defenders.
