About 26% vote early this year
The data were provided by CEC Secretary Mikalaj Lazavik.
This is almost one in the four Belarusian citizens with the electoral right. The voters of Vitsebsk region are on the first place with regard to early voting - 28,3%. Then goes Mahileu region with 27,5%, Homel region with 26,6%, Hrodna region with 25,9%, Brest region with 25,8%, and Minsk region with 24,6%. The lowest early voting turnout was in Minsk - 24,1%.
According to Lazavik, reports interfax.by, the turnout is approximately the same as at the previous election to the House of Representatives.
