Bolivia's Evo Morales in surprise visit to Minsk

At the meeting with Morales, Belarus president Aliaksandr Lukashenka said the experience of Belarusian-Venezuelan cooperation could be used in relations with Bolivia. He suggested that Morales pick three or four projects that would boost bilateral cooperation, reports interfax.by.

Morales and Lukashenka recalled the late Venezuela president Hugo Chávez who had helped to establish contacts between Belarus and Bolivia. The

development of cooperation between Belarus and Bolivia "would be the best way to commemorate Hugo Chávez," Morales said. The two leaders last met at Hugo Chávez's funeral on March 8 in Venezuela.

The Bolivian leader's agenda also includes visits to Minsk Tractor Plant and Minsk Automobile Plant.
