Poroshenko announces Silence Day in Donets Basin
December 9 has been chosen for it.
The Silence Day is supposed to start in the ATO area in Donets Basin on December 9. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced the decision at a meeting with heads of security agencies, UNIAN reports.
This measure is part of Minsk agreements, the meeting participants noted.
Minister of Defence Stepan Poltorak, Minister of Internal affairs Arsen Avakov, head of the Ukrainian Security Service Valentin Nalivaichenko, head of the State Border Service Victor Nazarenko and deputy commander of the National Guard Mykola Balan attended the meeting.
