According to the radio, the Polish Ministry of Culture is going to pass a bill that “will let municipalities demolish symbols of the Soviet occupation”.

The Ministry is planning “to remove symbols of the communist dictatorship from the streets of Polish cities”.

At the same time, Poland’s Institute of National Memory is drawing up a list of Soviet monuments that have remained in Poland.

According to Polish mass media, there are about 2 thousand monuments of the kind in Polish towns and villages.
