Pilots alive after two military jets in mishap near Byaroza
Two Mig-29 fighter jets from the 927th air base in Byaroza touched each other at 2015 during a planned aerobatics exercise, defense ministry spokesman Vyachaslau Ramenchyk told Euroradio.
The defense has dispatched a team of specialists, including the officers from the Air Force Command, the Air Defense and the Military Prosecutor's Office, to investigate the incident.
According to Ramenchyk, one plane was injured, forcing its pilot to eject. The second pilot landed safely at his air base. The spokesman says the both pilots are healthy, but investigation is underway.
