People detained in Orsha District threatened with criminal cases

Criminal cases may be started against participants of the celebration of the Day of Belarusian martial fame.
The police have locked them up in the police office and informed that they were going to start a criminal case for disrespect for state symbols during an incident that took place at the District Department of the Interior.

Somebody threw a green-red flag out of the window when a group of the detained was being released. Special police officers noticed it and made the group return to the building. It is known that several people are being kept in the city police department of Orsha now, reports Radio Liberty.

Let us remind you that the police and special police forces deranged the celebration of the Day of Belarusian martial fame not far from Orsha yesterday. All roads leading to Krapivenskae field were closed and dozens of people were detained by the police.

However, about 20 people managed to reach the battlefield at night. They were detained by the police in the morning and delivered to Orsha.
