Over 40 hypermarkets to be constructed in Belarus
Belarus plans to build over 40 hypermarkets within the next three years, under the national program for the development of domestic trade.
The stores should not only be huge but also offer at least 25,000 items and additional services.
Presently, there are 4 hypermarkets in Minsk, with 12 more to be added in the Belarusian capital by 2010. 3 new trade centers will open in the first half of the next year, while 5 more hypermarkets will be launched in 2009, reports ONT.
