Olympic results: Belarus is 16th in medal count tally

Belarus national Olympic team is 16th in the medal count tally of the ХХIХ summer Olympics 2008 in Beijing. The biggest number of gold medals was won by Chinese sportsmen – 51. Furthermore, the home team won 21 silver and 28 bronze medals – 100 medals on the whole. American athletes won 110 medals (36 gold and bronze and 38 silver medals). Russians got 72 medals (23, 21, 28). Representatives of 87 national Olympic teams were medal-winners this year.
