Old Bridge in Hrodna to be closed for traffic on Nov 7
The municipal authorities in Hrodna said the Old Bridge would be closed for pedestrians and traffic effective from November 7 in order to begin a full-scale reconstruction. The bridge was initially scheduled be closed in early May, but the reconstruction was postponed for October. A floating bridge was completed just two weeks ago to allow pedestrians cross the river, but people are reported to fear walking on this bridge doubting its reliability, reports ERB correspondent Syargey Apanovich.
