Number of victims of Domodedovo terrorist act reaches 31

The head of the Belarusian MFA's press-center Marya Vanshyna has informed to Euroradio that there is no information about the citizenship of the injured and the dead so far. 

A constant connection with the Belarusian consulate in Moscow is maintained, as well as with the competent Russian services. Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev has conducted an urgent consultation with regard to the Domodedovo situation, with participation of the General Public Prosecutor, the heads of the investigation committee and the Ministry of Transport. He has also authorised the Minister of Transport Ihar Liavitsin to introduce a special regime in all the airports and traffic points of Russia. 

According to the preliminary information, the explosive device which exploded today in the Domodedovo airport in Moscow, had been activated by a suicide bomber. Flights in Domodedovo are delayed, the passengers who have passed registration are not admitted to the passport control zone, a witness has reported to RIA Novosti.

The arrival zone of the international terminal is sealed off by the police. The passengers who come out the luggage claim zone are asked to leave the airport immediately. 

The number of victims of the terrorist act has reached 31 people. The Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has been informed about the tragic accident.
